Visit of Dr. Christian Keysers to our lab
Dr. Christian Keysers (Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience) visited the Kuroda Laboratory at the Institute of Science Tokyo after being invited by Prof. Kumi Kuroda to participate in the 14th International Symposium on Life Science and Technology, titled “Behavior decoded across scales.”
During the symposium, Dr. Keysers delivered an invited lecture on the neural mechanisms of empathy and prosocial behavior across humans and rodents.
Following the symposium, Dr. Keysers visited the Kuroda Lab, where he had fruitful discussions with Prof. Kuroda and lab members about current research on social behavior, neural circuits, and future directions in behavioral neuroscience. The visit also provided an opportunity for students and researchers to interact with Dr. Keysers, exchange ideas, and discuss ongoing projects in an informal setting.
We greatly appreciated the stimulating scientific exchange and look forward to future interactions and collaborations.
